Welcome to the Mary Beth Burgess State Farm Agency!

I’ve been an agent for 20 years and have been with State Farm for 26 years. Our office helps individuals and families with their insurance needs, and our approach is simple: real people matter! We invite you to stop by and see us in person.

My parents are a teacher and a preacher, so I always knew I wanted to be in a helping profession. I started working at State Farm corporate while I was in grad school, and it just stuck!

We live in Rowan County with two dogs, six goats, and a lot of chickens. All of our kids are now grown, and one of them, Jessie, works with me at the agency. We’re also expecting our first grandchild this spring! When I’m not working, you’ll find me running, farming, gardening, or singing in our Praise Band.
